Small Town Coroner
Entry 19
Another year has come and gone....and so has my hair. When you look back at those old photos you can sometimes wonder if that was even you. I found a picture from my high school graduation with my mom and dad. They\'ve been gone a long time. My parents were both government attorneys. They always worked and we rarely spent time together. I spent most of my afternoons and evenings studying or working. Even though they had me they never were comfortable around children. I think that is part of the reason I never had any brothers or sisters. They were always surprised when I didn\'t follow in their footsteps. But the live they lived was never mine. I had a wife who could light up any room and a daughter with more energy than I could remember having. I was different than them. From everyone I guess you could say. Although I can rarely say that I was out of place with my wife and daughter. I wonder what they would think of me now. I\'ve changed dramatically since then. I\'m a new creation with Christ. Midnight is nudging my hand time to eat. Another night in the books.
